Just over a year ago I started to work for Huxley Homes as a building consultant.
If you would have told me that I would be helping people into brand new homes 5 years ago I would have told you that you were nuts.
However, over 1 year on and I am enjoying the challenge. I get a real good kick of pricing up everyone’s dream home and love their excitement. It is infectious.

You may be aware that Huxley went out of business in 2016. It was a sad day but I enjoyed my time with them and learned a lot. Yes, I am still in the industry but having trouble liking working for others as Huxley was very good. It wasn’t lack of sales that sent them under, but many other things which I will not reveal here on the web.
Our current home as at July 2018 was built by Huxley (we got the keys in 2011) and the entire build photos can be viewed on Facebook (I closed my Fakebook account in 2019 – click here for the reason why) – just click on the photo (it now goes to onedrive). The house name was The Merewether and that’s why the album is named so. I would like to live in Merewether though, as some people thought that must be where we live due to the album name. Not yet anyway.
